Hello! I am a 17-year-old artist and creative based in Christchurch, New Zealand. I have been creating and making since I can remember, and it’s my biggest passion.
Zoe Jasmine Design (Jasmine is my middle name) was started in 2015 when I was 10 years old. The brand was originally named Lots of Love Art. Mum and I started off selling greeting cards and have sold over 7,500 cards now (as of 2022). I have designed a range of 30 cards from ages 9 till now.
The business grew from cards to a handmade baby range, that started from the arrival of my little sister, Hollyanne, in 2018. I enjoy sewing these products and love choosing gorgeous fabrics for little ones.
As of this year, I launched the handmade jewellery range. This range is created with 14k gold and sterling silver metals with freshwater pearls and crystals. I take care in designing and creating dainty and minimalist style jewellery.
To date, the business has donated over $1000 to charities. This has been through sales of the Turtle greeting card, where 50% of profits have gone (and still do) to Greenpeace. This was inspired by their successful ‘Ban the bag’ campaign to ban the use of plastic bags in supermarkets that endangered turtles (and other sea creatures). The money goes to saving marine wildlife and our beautiful planet. I have also raised money for the Starship Foundation through sales of earrings last year, with 50% of profits going to this great cause.
I enjoy creating and selling these products and supply to shops all around New Zealand.
